Canoeing, kayaking and tubing are some of the most popular activities on the river. Thousand of people float down the river every week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There is nothing more refreshing than a float down the river on the hot muggy days of summer. There are rental services available at Glennnie, Grayling, Hale, Luzerne, Mio and Oscoda. They will transport you to the launch sites by bus or van and then pick you up and bring you back when your trip is finished.
